work makes Downtown Atlanta
a better place for everyone.
Our Ambassadors helped 104 people find their cars, jumped 354 dead batteries, and offered 1,024,547 friendly greetings to residents and visitors.

Over 6000 people contributed their ideas on what they want to
see in the future park and surrounding streets.
We hosted dozens of community engagement sessions, design workshops,
and walking tours that informed the
Master Plan for The Stitch.
In partnership with the City of Atlanta, we secured a monumental $157M grant from USDOT to build Phase 1 of the project.
The Stitch was awarded the largest federal grant in the Atlanta region’s history.

Several commercial buildings now have plans to add residential units.
Our office-to-residential conversion study pinpointed 10 Downtown buildings primed for adaptive reuse.
Attendees enjoyed karaoke, a foam party, chalk art, and 15 new murals by local artists.
We brought the party to Peachtree Street during Atlanta Streets Alive last summer.
We kept calm and carried on with 31 free yoga and wellness classes.
The Peachtree St. Accessibility Project removed the stone retaining wall along Peachtree Street, added a 255 ft. accessible path through the park, and created a performance area.
A new path was built through Woodruff Park, making your stroll more accessible than ever.
Plus, thousands experienced 5 eye-catching art installations in Woodruff Park.
A combined 87 hours of live music was performed by local talent at Woodruff Park and the Broad Street Boardwalk.

We put the spotlight on our neighbors during National Small Business Week with a special section in Atlanta Intown and features on social media.
15 entrepreneurs received education and support through the Retail Ready business accelerator program.
80,250 Centennial Park District walking maps helped visitors navigate Downtown Atlanta’s premier entertainment district.
We connected unhoused residents with supportive services through daily outreach, multiple resource fairs, and a new brochure.
Connection doesn’t end there. We also gather employees of Atlanta social service agencies together monthly to network and share resources, ideas,
and updates.
Often unhoused people just want to return to their families but don’t have the resources to reach out. Through our new reunification program, our team helps them connect and coordinates flights, bus tickets, or rideshares back to their families – over 100 lives, begun anew.
112 families welcomed home their loved ones experiencing homelessness.
From attracting new businesses to planning transportation projects, we serve as the connector between the City of Atlanta, private companies, universities, nonprofits, and residents in Downtown Atlanta.
We sent thousands of emails and spent immeasurable hours meeting with civic and business leaders to advocate for the future of Downtown Atlanta.
17 new businesses invested in the success of Downtown by becoming CAP members.
Working with Downtown parking operators and property owners, we commissioned studies on strategies to reduce car break-ins. We developed a new campaign with the Atlanta Police Department, Lock Hide Keep, to curb this type of crime.
Forsyth Street got a makeover with 15 repaved blocks and a brand-new protected bike lane.
Handling Atlanta’s most notorious pest isn’t glamorous...but someone’s gotta do it.
Thousands of Downtown rats were sent to rat heaven.
We united with the community to keep the Five Points MARTA Station open.
Our Arts & Entertainment Atlanta program supported over 60 creatives and arts organizations.
Their work appeared on Downtown’s digital signs and beyond.
Planting partners included Delta, Trees Atlanta, the Daffodil Project, and Park Place.
10,000 daffodils, 410 trees, and 18,000 plants took root with help from our planting partners.
Everything’s coming up roses... and daffodils...and trees!

Work is underway preparing Downtown for the World Cup!
Our Downtown Neighborhood Transformation Initiative outlines the steps we’re taking to create a better city center for everyone. We received a grant from the Atlanta Regional Commission to advance conceptual designs to upgrade Downtown’s existing wayfinding system. ADID has taken on an active role in special events coordination, including piloting an off-street location for rideshare service loading.
